Junior Women's Southern Playdown Info - Urgent!

Hello Junior Women Curlers, Coaches and Parents;

This is Susan Lang and I am on the committee for the 2011 Junior Women's Southern Playdowns at the Callie Club in Regina. Part of our responsibility as a committee is to ensure that we have arranged a host hotel for teams, officials and spectators. Our host hotel is the Regina Inn in downtown Regina. The room rate for 2 Queen sized beds is $135 per night.

Agribition Week in Regina is running the same time as Junior Women's Southerns. This means that hotel rooms in Regina are at a super premium and the city is routinely sold out of all hotel accommodations for that week in November. The Callie has 30 rooms guaranteed at the Regina Inn but they are only available until October 26th, 2011. I highly recommend that if you feel there is the slightest chance that your team needs hotel accommodation for this competition that you book your hotel rooms by October 26th. Should your team qualify and not require playing in the Southerns, you may cancel your hotel room by November 15th free of charge. Rooms not cancelled by November 15th will be charged for. Our contract must release any unreserved rooms by October 27th so I urge you to take care of this matter immediately.

Please book your hotel rooms directly by calling 1-800-667-8162. The block of rooms is saved under Callie Curling Club - Junior Southern Women's Curling Bonspiel.

I would appreciate it if you could forward this email to any coach, curler, parent or curling club that you may think needs this information
I may be contacted at susan.lang@sasktel.net if you have any questions.
Yours in curling,
Susan Lang
