Deb Thierman and Linda Kloschinsky were the latest qualifiers for Senior Women's Provincials.


January 26 - 30, 2011
SaskPower Scotties Tournament of Hearts
Outlook, Saskatchewan
The Amber Holland team repeated as the SaskPower Scotties Tournament of Hearts Champion and will go on to represent Saskatchewan in Prince Edward Island. Holland had to go the long way and play a tie-breaker against Debbie Folk. They then went on to beat Mandy Selzer in the quarter-final, and then they defeated Cindy Ricci in the semi-final. In the final Holland was able to defend her title and won against Stefanie Lawton. Selzer also like Holland had to come through a tie-breaker and had to beat Michelle Enlgot to make playoffs.

Trish Paulsen is finished the round robin 9-3, and alone in second place.

January 27 - February 6, 2011
World University Games
Erzurum, Turkey
Brooklyn Lemon finished the round robin 6th with a 4-5 record.

• The entry deadline for the Master Women’s Provincials is 6:00PM, Monday, February 14, 2011 (as per the SCA Website).
• The entry deadline for the Juvenile Provincials is 6:00PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2011 (as per the SCA Website).
• You will need to contact your local region direction in regards to the entry deadline for the Dominion Women’s Playdowns. All regions are to be determined by March 6, 2011 (as per the SCA Website).

12. Favourite event to curl in?  Moose Jaw CHAB Spiel and Glow Curling at the Tartan

13. Which curler or team did you idolize growing up and why? Heather Kalenchuk - she's my teacher and plays the same position as I do

14. Of all the curlers past and present who would be the most entertaining curler and why?   John Morris because he is so good looking.
