2. Hometown - Grayson
3. Current curling club - Caledonian C.C. - Regina
4. Occupation - Retired
5. Family (mom, dad, siblings, significant other, children, grandchildren, pets) - N/A
6. Event/organizations you are volunteering for this year - Schmirler Curling Classic and President of the Sundown Optimist Club.
7. What is your favourite part about volunteering? Just knowing that I am helping out.
8. Why should people go and watch or participate in Schmirler Curling Classic event? First of all, if we do not have fans and volunteers these curling events will not take place. In order for our teams to be competitive we have to provide them with the opportunity to succeed. As a volunteer for the Schmirler Curling Classic, I feel we provide our teams with world class competition and we also provide our younger teams with the experience to succeed at the next level of competition. As a fan you probably do not see much better curling all year as you do at this event.
9. What is your most memorable curling moment? Winning The Weyburn Classic in 1985.
10. Who is your favourite curler and why? John Grundy, because he is a friend, has participated in 2 briers and 1 National Seniors and numerous southerns and Provincials.
